Care Instructions

To ensure your luxury leather bag remains a timeless piece in your collection, proper maintenance is essential. High-quality leather is a natural material that evolves over time, and following these detailed care steps will preserve its texture, color, and structure.

1. Routine Cleaning and Protection

  • Surface Dusting: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to wipe down the exterior at least once a week to prevent dust and dirt from settling into the grain.
  • Water Safety: Keep your bag away from heavy rain. If it does get wet, do not use a hair dryer or heater; instead, blot the moisture with a clean towel and allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature.
  • Stain Removal: For minor marks, use a slightly damp cloth with a tiny amount of leather-safe soap. Always test a small, inconspicuous area first.

2. Conditioning and Hydration

  • Maintain Suppleness: Leather can lose its natural oils over time, leading to cracks. Every 3–6 months, apply a high-quality leather conditioner. Use a circular motion with a soft cloth, let it sit for a few minutes, and then buff away the excess.
  • Hardware Care: Use a dry cloth to polish the gold-toned zippers and clasps to prevent tarnishing or fingerprint buildup.

3. Proper Storage and Shape Preservation

  • Maintain Structure: When not in use, stuff the bag with acid-free tissue paper or a soft scarf. Avoid using newspaper, as the ink can transfer to the interior lining.
  • Dust Protection: Store the bag inside its original breathable cotton dust bag. Avoid plastic bags, as leather needs to "breathe" to prevent mildew.
  • Avoid Hanging: Do not store the bag by its straps on a hook, as this can permanently stretch the leather and distort the handle's shape. Place it upright on a shelf instead.
